Sun Oak Farm Ponds are Sites of Special Scientific Interest. No work of any description can be carried out without permission from the Fishery Officer.

Members must not enter before 4am and must leave before 11pm.

The fields alongside the waters are leased to third parties and are for their use, not ours.

The public, including dog walkers, have a right of way on the footpath that runs along the north side of Black Bottom Pond. Please be courteous to the public at all times.
Parking & Access
Dry Pond:
Turn left off Hammerpond Road, onto the dirt track beside Sun Oak Farm house. The first gate, 100 yards from the road, should be kept shut and locked at all times; there are two padlocks set in sequence, one is a H&DAA padlock. Proceed to the end of the track. Look out for a sign on a tree, on the left by a gate.
Only park alongside the track by the gate. Do not park on the track at any point. The access to the fishery is through a small pedestrian gate.
Black Bottom Pond:
Turn left off Hammerpond Road, onto the dirt track beside Sun Oak Farm house. The first gate, 100 yards from the road, should be kept shut and locked at all times; there are two padlocks set in sequence, one is a H&DAA padlock. Proceed 0.25 miles to an entrance on the left, there is a sign on a tree. Drive through the entrance and keep to the track on the right, following around the field, all the way round to the dam wall. Cross the dam.
Only park on the left by the two large oak trees. Do not park on the track at any point. Do not walk or drive across the fields.
Alternatively, access is by the footpath that runs along the north side of the pond.
Vehicles must not be taken down Hampers Lane.
