Parking & Access
Heading south on the A29, turn right near the bottom of Codmore Hill, into Blackgate Lane. Proceed 2km to a farm on your right with 2 tall silos and some big storage buildings, 50m after this turn left onto a track, follow this for 400m until reaching a farmyard with an automatic gate.
Parking is available on the grass verge opposite the automatic gate. Access to the river is a short walk through the field gate. Additional parking is available by following the track where it turns left at the barn and continuing along up until an obvious parking area is reached.
Please leave a note on your dashboard ‘H&DAA fishing’.
Please take care driving down the track and do not, in any circumstances, block any farm machinery or access, or scare any horses being exercised.
Fishing is on the nearside bank for approximately ½mile in each direction from the footbridge by the barn.
The downstream boundary is the fence which marks the boundary of the Snape Farm Fishery. The upstream boundary is marked by a Billingshurst AS notice board.
