Although there was a cold easterly wind, the fishing was generally good after the warm weather in the run up to the match. Ray Smallwood took a couple of bream early on the feeder, then a switch to the pellet waggler resulted in 10 carp and a winning weight of 105-4-0. In second place was John Hayes who fished the feeder for 1 carp and 3 decent tench for 22-0-0. This was the final match for this ‘season’, before they return early in June.
