Special Rules:

  • No fishing is allowed from the road bank.
  • No fishing is allowed beyond the Yew Tree swim on the Horsham bank.
  • Members must not enter before 4am and must leave before 11pm.
  • Night fishing is allowed for those Members with Night Permits.

Facilities:
A disabled swim has been constructed on the east bank (Mannings Heath side) for wheelchair-bound anglers.

Parking & Access

Birchenbridge Pond is located on the north side of the A281 between Horsham and Mannings Heath.

Please access the car park  on the Horsham side of the lake through the gate with the H&DAA lock on it, and park as shown on the sign in the carpark.

Alternatively there is off-road parking on the Mannings Heath side of the pond, 50 yards up the hill on the other side of the road.  This is a very small layby and is accessed by a drop kerb.

Parking on the main road, in the entrance area by the car park gate or by the gate on the Mannings Heath bank is strictly forbidden. Likewise, there is no vehicular access through the gate be the lake on the Mannings Heath  bank.  The landowners have cameras in operation and you WILL be reported.
