The water was cold and coloured at Roost Hole which meant hopes were not high for a good day from the start. This proved to be the case with bites hard to come by from silver fish (carp don’t count in the Christmas competition). Jackson Deacon (a junior member) however enjoyed his day taking the top weight mostly made up of 2 bream.
