The water was high and very coloured at Birchenbridge, and for most the fishing was a struggle. John Hayes however had a great day fishing towards the far end of the pond and taking 3 Carp (best 12-4-0), a perch nudging 2lb and 2 bream for a total of 40lb 5oz. Other than 2 similar sized perch for Andy and Wayne it was small fish all the way.
