  • Membership renewals for the 2024 – 2025 season will open at the start of May. If you wish to renew your membership please do so by the end of May.
    If you wish to go on our waiting list then please contact us via email at membership@hdaa.co.uk with your name, phone number and membership category you would like to apply for.

Membership

The club season starts on the 1st of June each year and lasts for one calendar year, or in the event of a member joining part way through the year, the remainder of the calendar year. Members will not be able to fish until they have renewed their membership.

In order to ensure a guaranteed renewal of membership, existing members must renew  their subscriptions before May 31st, after which those on the waiting list and new members will be able to apply.

Payment – We accept payment by credit or debit card. To join or renew online, click on the relevant button below and complete your details.

For new members – Please ensure you upload a photograph so that your photo card can be posted out to you.

Your Rulebook and Newsletter will be delivered via email. The Rulebook is also available to view at all times on our Website. There is no excuse for not knowing club rules.

There are six membership categories:

  • Adult: Those aged 18 to 64 on 1st June.
  • Junior: Those aged 10 to 17 on 1st June.
  • Minor: Those aged under 10 years on 1st June.
  • Over 65: Those aged 65 and over on 1st June.
  • Disabled member: Those in possession of a concessionary disabled rod licence issued by the Environment Agency.
  • Non-Fishing: For anyone wishing to accompany any of the membership categories above

Juniors under the age of 16 and Minors must be accompanied by an adult member over the age of 18 years when fishing on all H&DAA fisheries.

Night permits (11pm-6am) are available that cover both a full season and a single night’s fishing. Neither full or single use night permits will be issued to members of less than ONE FULL years standing. Full night permits must be purchased at time of renewal, otherwise a charge for a new membership card will apply. Single use night permits may be purchased at any time.

Membership shall be at the discretion of the Committee and all members must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence, when fishing club waters.
